Cabernet's Barberra is an own daughter of the 1998 ALSA National Grand Champion, Castanero, who is by the fabulous El Fuerte. She is out of a Macho's Prestige female who is one of my best producing dams. The cria by her side is by Cabernet's Pinot Blanc, the 1999 ALSA National Grand Champion Medium Wool male, ALSA Halter Champion, ALSA Get of Sire Champion, and Celebrity Top 10. Pinot Blanc passed in November 2007 of pneumonia and this cria is one of the only 4 due in 2008. Barbie is a brilliant mahogany red and produces very fine fibered fleece babies. Her 2006 daughter by Pinot Blanc (still in our herd) was Grand Champion overall walking and shorn fleece at the 2007 Ellensburg Extra.
